This class is for kids on the spectrum. It is a great opportunity for them to try something new and can be a beneficial activity for an autistic child for several reasons. Firstly, it can help improve fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. It involves manipulating clay into various shapes and designs.  Pottery can also provide a sensory experience, as they can explore the different textures and sensations of working with clay. This is calming and engaging for children who may be sensitive to certain sensory inputs.
Furthermore, pottery allows for self-expression and creativity, which can be empowering for all children and especially those who may have difficulty expressing themselves verbally. Through pottery, children can communicate their thoughts and emotions in a non-verbal way.
Overall, pottery can be a therapeutic and enjoyable activity for autistic children, providing them with opportunities for skill development, sensory exploration, and self-expression.

These classes are limited to 5 places per class, and each child must have a caregiver in attendance with them during the class. Caregivers are also encouraged to join in. In the spirit of fairness, places are also limited to 3 per child.   Everything created during the class will be professionally glazed and fired, so you can proudly showcase your masterpieces. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to have a blast and let the kids express their creativity. Book a spot now and experience the joy of making something truly special!
