Cancellation and Refund Policy

Please read our cancellation and refund policy and in particular, before making an application in writing for a refund.

Please note: Your enrolment or booking is only confirmed once payment is made.

Cancellation by KudoClay

Occasionally we (KudoClay) may have to cancel courses or workshops for a variety of reasons. If we cancel prior to the commencement, you will either get a full refund or your enrolment will be transferred to another course or workshop. If we need to cancel a class, we will endeavour to make up the missed class at a later date.

If the cancellation is after the course has started, your enrolment will be transferred. Under these circumstances, no refund will be given.

Cancellation by the Student

If you withdraw from a course or cancel a booking, and you inform us in writing, at least 7 days before the course or workshop is due to start: You will be eligible for a refund minus a $50 administration charge.

A deposit made to hold a place in a class will also incur the $50 administration charge.

If you withdraw from a course or cancel a workshop at any other time: We are unable to give a refund. 

Class Absence

Should a student miss a class for any reason, we are unable to make up missed classes. The onus is with the student to attend classes, and no refund or catchup for missed classes will be considered or given.

On occasion, with space permitting, a catchup class may be offered, but entirely at the discretion of the tutor and KudoClay management.

Cancellation due to Covid-19

If we are unable to meet in person at the pottery studio due to Covid-19 restrictions, we will endeavour to continue lessons online, if possible. This will be in the form of either video tutorials or live using Google classrooms. We are unable to give refunds due to cancellation or non-attendance caused by Covid-19 restrictions. If a class or workshop is unable to run because of Covid-19 restrictions, we will reschedule to another date.
