About the class: This class is held at the Canterbury Potters Association, 395 Memorial Ave, Burnside, Christchurch. This is a wheel throwing class for intermediate to advanced students. The class focuses on developing throwing skills that will enable students to make a variety of objects from a set of cups or mugs, plates bowls, jugs, tea pots and much more. Each term we have a theme. Some of our past themes have been Jugs, lidded jars, and Tea pots to name a few. Students are encouraged to develop their own style and work on self-initiated projects.
