KudoClay Pottery Studios — Cancellation and Refund Policy

Please read our cancellation and refund policy carefully, especially before submitting a refund request.

Please Note: Your enrolment or booking is only confirmed once payment is made.

Cancellation by KudoClay

Occasionally, we (KudoClay) may need to cancel courses or workshops for a variety of reasons. In such cases, we will offer the following options:

  • Before the course/workshop starts: You will receive either a full refund or the option to transfer your enrolment to another course or workshop.
  • After the course/workshop has started: If we need to cancel, your enrolment will be transferred to another course/workshop. No refund will be issued in this case.
  • Missed classes due to KudoClay’s cancellation: If a class is missed due to KudoClay’s cancellation, we will aim to make up the missed class at a later date.

Cancellation by the Student

If you need to cancel your enrolment or booking, please inform us in writing at least 7 days before the course or workshop is due to start. You will then be eligible for a refund minus a $50 administration fee.

  • Deposits: Any deposit paid to hold a place in a class will also incur a $50 administration fee.
  • Cancellation less than 7 days before the start date: Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund in this case.

Class Absence

If you miss a class for any reason, we are unable to offer a make-up class. It is your responsibility to attend the classes, and we do not provide refunds or catch-up options for missed sessions.

Cancellation Due to Covid-19

If in-person classes cannot be held due to Covid-19 restrictions, we will make every effort to continue lessons online. These lessons will take the form of either video tutorials or live sessions using Google Classroom, depending on the situation.

  • No refunds for Covid-19-related cancellations: We are unable to offer refunds for cancellations or non-attendance due to Covid-19 restrictions.
  • Rescheduling: If a class or workshop is unable to take place due to Covid-19 restrictions, we will work to reschedule it for another date.
